A movement that began with one decision.
Everything started with one decision.
In autumn 2024 the devastating floods caused by DANA affected thousands of families in Valencia.
Even though we lived more than 2,000 kilometres away in Copenhagen, we believed distance could never be an excuse.
A group of volunteers decided to act. That decision became DANAmark Solidaritet.

More than fundraising.
Musicians, artists, businesses, volunteers and families found each other around one cause. Football players donated signed shirts. We held community dinners, cultural evenings, concerts and fundraising activities — each in its own way, all driven by the same thing.

Together we raised more than 200,000 DKK.
All funds were donated directly to Fundación Isabel Enrique Díaz and World Central Kitchen — two trusted humanitarian partners who delivered the support directly to families affected by the floods in Valencia.

Today we continue.
In 2026 we respond again — this time to the wildfires that have devastated thousands of hectares across Spain. The Social Run is the next chapter.

DANAmark Solidaritet connects people, communities and companies to transform solidarity into real help whenever Spain needs it most.
We are building a long-term community between Denmark and Spain — not only for this crisis, but for the ones to come.
